Policies & Payments

Policies & Payments

Ducks2Water lessons follow the Buckinghamshire school timetable. Lessons are held during term time, and there are no lessons during school holidays. This means that there are 38 lessons throughout the year.

Lessons are paid for on the first of each month. We make this easy for you by taking the cost of the whole year and dividing it by twelve. So you pay the same amount each month regardless of how many lessons there are that month.

Prices: at Royal Grammar School and Millbrook School:  £55 per month
at Wendover Swimming Pool: £45 per month
Sibling Discount: 10% discount for a sibling

Booking and First Payment: Monthly payments are made a month in advance. When you make your first booking to start swimming in that month, you will be charged at the time of booking. Several days later, you will be charged again to bring you into line with the “Month in Advance” policy. Then you will be charged on the 1st of the next month and the 1st of each month after that.

Termination: When it is time to move on, we require a month’s notice. You then will not be charged on the next 1st of the month, but your swimmer will continue to attend during that notice period.

Late or missed payments: Customers should make sure that funds are available on the first of each month. If the payment is not made, the space may become available for others to book.

Lesson Cancellation Policy
If we cancel a lesson (for example, there is an issue with the pool), then you will receive a credit of £15.50 that will reduce your next monthly payment.
If you cancel or miss a lesson, there is no refund. If your swimmer has a long-term health issue or injury, please speak to us about your monthly fees.

Sickness: Similar to school attendance, a child who has diarrhoea, is vomiting, or has an ear or eye infection should not attend a lesson.

Behaviour: Parents or carers are responsible for the good behaviour of their swimmers. The teacher can ask for a swimmer to be taken out of the pool if the behaviour is unsafe or disruptive.
